Triggers

Each UI element has a set of trigger actions. For example, the UI element button has only one action: Click. That means that the user can set an action for this trigger. The action will happen any time the button is triggered. The available triggers could vary from element to element.

Most common triggers

  1. “On init” - the action happens when the element is loaded on a page.
  2. “Click“ - the action happens when the UI element is clicked
  3. “On select“ - the action happens when the UI elements is selected. E.g item is selected in a dropdown list or a row is selected in a table.
  4. “On type“ - the action happens when somebody starts typing in the UI element. E.g. somebody starts typing in the text field.

Special UI elements can have additional triggers. For example, the element “Smart table“ has the following triggers:

  1. On Create - the action happens when a new item is added to the table
  2. On Edit - the action happens when a new item is edited
  3. On Delete - the action happens when an item is deleted from the table
